Global Advertising and Marketing

There are many well-known companies around the world such as Apple, Nike, Samsung, McDonald, and etc. Apple is very well-known from its iPhone, iPad, MacBook, and Mac Air. Apple is very famous because its top notch technology. There are many applications that support its operation system. Apple doesn't have many problems in advertising around the world. Even though there are many different and conflict of cultures, traditions and religions around the world, no one want to fall behind others. People want to own the best technology. Samsung works out the same way as Apple. The market share of Samsung might be less than Apple but it starts gaining more and more in the last two years. I think Apple doesn’t change much in its technology. It is kind of renovation more than improvement. On the other hand, Samsung introduce the Android system. There were a few Android applications in the beginning but there were many available applications came out in the last five years. It is another reason to encourage more people to use Samsung. Nike is one of many well-known for its athlete products. Many famous athletes use shoes and other products from the brand. I personally use many items from the brand such as gym shoes, sport bras, socks, gym bags, gym shirts and gym pants. The brand doesn’t have many problems for advertisement because the company hires the famous athlete to wear its products. In my opinion, all sport companies’ advertisement doesn’t have much different. It is just personal preference. McDonald is a very famous fast-food chain in the world. The company offers different menus to different countries and regions because different country has different taste preference. McDonald also had problems before in the Middle East. The company had to close its stores because the people in the Middle East boycott it. McDonald opens its store in Middle East again last couple year again. The company changes almost the whole menu. The company gets all produce from Islam. Every company has to consider what kind of its customers and potential customers will be. The company has to study and do research for the preference, cultures, traditions and religions. If the company offers wrong type of products to people who prefer different lifestyle, the company fail basic rule of business; what customer want or need.
